Job Title: Commis Chef Location: Kingswells, AberdeenshireSalary: £13.00 per hourHours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7am to 3pm (with some flexibility as per business needs)

Join our team as a Commis Chef in Kingswells, Aberdeenshire, and play a vital role in delivering delicious dishes to our customers and clients. You'll ensure that food preparation meets high standards while maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to standards and portion specifications.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and exceed their expectations.
• Actively seek and implement ways to improve work activities and promote efficiency.
• Assist with food orders, deliveries, and stocktaking procedures.
• Uphold health and safety standards, including proper handling of food and equipment.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and maintain cleanliness in working areas.
• Support with hospitality and functions as needed.
• Flexibility to work in different units when necessary.

• Effective communicator, able to interact confidently with customers and team members.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Committed to delivering excellent customer care.
• Enthusiastic about working in a food service environment.
• Strong personal hygiene standards.
• Able to adapt to changing business needs and work collaboratively with others.
• Holds Basic Food Hygiene/Level 2 certification.
• NVQ Level 2 in professional cookery or equivalent experience preferred.
