Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the Compass Apprenticeship team to provide administration support across our Apprenticeship & Early Career Programmes. This role is pivotal to ensure the smooth running of the team and you will have the opportunity to support with a wide range of exciting projects. 
You will be fully supported within this role and will be given every opportunity to progress within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards and recognises employees who go beyond the plate.
Alongside your day to day duties, you will complete the L3 Business Administration apprenticeship to support your skills development. An apprenticeship is a funded programme where an individual learns new skills, knowledge and behaviours in a chosen sector. An apprenticeship will enable you to work and earn a wage whilst developing and gaining new skills as an employee.
You will be supported through this qualification by your Development Coach who will conduct progress reviews every 4-6 weeks. You are not expected to complete any of your apprenticeship work outside of your normal working hours and will be given set time each week to complete your work.
Key Duties:

  • Support with eligibility screening for all internal apprenticeship applications
  • Support with Apprenticeship application queries
  • Support with data amends in our data management system Scopesuite
  • Conduct well-being calls to Apprentices
  • Support Apprentices through the Apprenticeship application & sign-up process
  • Screening Apprentice Vacancies Forms
  • Scheduling Telephone/Face to Face Interviews 
  • Liaising with new starters and collating new starter Paperwork
  • Completing right to work checks
  • Handling New Starter Records
  • Creating job adverts and posting online following approval
  • Liaising and supporting Hiring Mentors with Hiring Mentors 
  • Liaising and provide updates employment support partners 
  • Scheduling Telephone/Face to Face Interviews 
  • Conduct well-being calls to Kickstart Candidates
  • Processing candidate applications & CV's
  • Answering telephones in a polite and professional manner
  • Attending meetings and note taking
  • Answering email queries, through a central inbox
  • Respond to telephone queries and take messages
  • Data input and processing using excel and data management system Conveya
  • Support with diary management
  • To undertake clerical, typing/word processing, filing, photocopying, post and scanning requests
  • Supporting with projects 
  • Supporting with Event Planning and attending Events
